Sources tell Deadline that Mad Men season 6 is heading to Hawaii for a topic secret shoot that only involves a small number of cast and crew.
Jon Hamm and Jessica Pare, who play Don and Megan Draper, are heading to the touristy state alongside a “very small crew” at the end of this week for a two day shoot. With Don and Megan in the scene, we can speculate that the couple are on a vacation.
As fans know, season 5 ended with Don about to say yes or no to a woman asking if he was alone at a bar. The scene was critical in that Don had stayed loyal to Megan the entire season while helping her with her acting career. This secret shoot seems to suggest that things are still good between the couple at the start of season 6, but it doesn’t answer if Don ended up cheating on her at the end of season 5.
Mad Men season 6 should premiere on AMC sometime this spring. Creator Matt Weiner is notorious for keeping the show’s plot under lock and key until each episode airs, so we likely won’t hear more about this season for some time, unless the paparazzi in the Aloha state capture the action.
