On the heels of the first Mad Men season 7 teaser video, AMC has released the key art which may be the series’ most colorful yet.

Graphic designer Milton Glasder created Mad Men season 7’s new poster, viewable below. It uses the silhouette of Don Draper we’ve seen in the show’s iconic opening since the beginning of the series. It’s fitting that this shot of Don would be used since this is the final season and we’re all looking for a bit of nostalgia as we send it off with a fond, drink-fueled farewell.

As they did when the season 6 poster debuted this time last year, The New York Times spoke to Weiner about the new season’s artwork. “There is a dreamlike quality to it, and believe it or not, it is related to the show, and not because it’s psychedelic,” said Weiner. “That’s not what it’s about. What it’s about is the material and the immaterial world, and that’s what I loved.”

Weiner has been a longtime fan of Glasder’s work and has wanted to work with him for a while. The show creator teased what the poster may refer to in the show’s final episodes. “This is related to the late ’60s, which is all I will say about it. It maintains the idea that this is somehow going on in Don Draper’s mind, which is what the story is always about — and what the back of his head is about, on some level.”

Mad Men season 7 will be split into two halves airing in April 2014 and April 2015. Each half of the season will have seven episodes. It is the final season of the ad-man drama, as AMC announced in September of last year.
