It’s hard to believe, but we’re already halfway through the new Mad Men episodes we’re receiving this year.

Mad Men season 7, episode 4 titled “The Monolith” airs Sunday, May 4 at 10 p.m. eastern/pacific on AMC. Since the final season of the beloved 60s/70s drama is being split into two halves, seven episodes are airing this year while the remaining seven will air in 2015.

In tonight’s episode, “Sterling Cooper & Partners prepares for a guest, Don calls an old friend, Roger confronts problems at home and Pete underestimates Peggy,” according to a synopsis released by AMC.

Last week’s Mad Men season 7 episode was an interesting turning point for Don. The lead character was welcomed back into SC&P after receiving an invite from Roger. Things during his first day back didn’t go smoothly, however: No one knew he was going to be arriving in the office except for his elder friend. The partners were planning on giving Don a swift kick out the door until Roger reminded them that they can’t let him go to another agency.

Now Don is back, but not without several new rules he must follow. Chief among them is that he can no longer drink for fun. He also must report to the person who had replaced him, Lou.

In “The Monolith” we will see Don slip back into his old job in some fashion. Things will surely be awkward and different for Mr. Draper if Peggy’s welcome back message (“I can’t say that we miss you”) was any indication.
