AMC has announced several premiere dates for shows like Mad Men season 7 and Better Call Saul.

The first half of Mad Men season 7 will premiere Sunday, April 13 at 10 p.m. eastern/pacific. The channel has split the final season of the Matt Weiner drama so that the first half will air in 2014 and the second half will air in 2015. A similar decision was made for Breaking Bad’s final season and ended up being great for viewership and extending the show’s life.

Speaking of Breaking Bad, AMC also announced today that the Saul Goodman spinoff Better Call Saul, starring Bob Odenkirk, will premiere in November 2014. In a previous announcement we learned that Netflix will have all episodes available right after season 1 finishes airing on television.

In related news, a new AMC drama titled Turn, which is described as a Revolutionary War spy series, is set to debut on Sunday, April 6 at 9 p.m. eastern/pacific with a 90-minute episode. A new trailer was released today and can be watched below:

The synopsis for Turn says that the show “tells the tale of Abe Woodhull (Jamie Bell), a farmer living behind enemy lines in British-occupied Long Island, who bands together with a group of childhood friends to form The Culper Ring, an unlikely team of secret agents who would help turn the tide of the war in favor of the Rebels. Their daring efforts also revolutionized the art of espionage, giving birth to modern tradecraft as we know it today, along with all of the moral complexity that entails.”

Finally, AMC says that a new 80s tech drama Halt and Catch Fire will begin in June, while Hell on Wheels season 4 will premiere later in the summer.
