On June 15, news broke that #LuciFans had been successful with their campaigning, as Netflix picked up Lucifer for a fourth season. The reaction across social media was… jubilant, to say the least.

Everyone from the creators, to the cast, to the fans immediately took to Twitter to share their joy at chance for the show to continue on.

Showrunners Joe Henderson and Ildy Modrovich thanked the fans for their relentless support in petitioning networks, and streaming services, to bring back the show.

The Devil himself, Tom Ellis, got lyrical with his own thank you, to the tune of Mr. Mister’s “Broken Wings.” And don’t think we didn’t notice those appropriate horns atop his head.

DB Woodside, who plays Lucifer’s brother, Amenadiel, had some colorful language in his own thank you video — but considering how emotional we all are about its revival, we understand and may have used some of our own expletives.

Aimee Garcia also couldn’t believe they were picked up for season 4, and, yep. More expletives. “Holy s$%t!”

Other current, and former, cast members and crew also shared their joy across social media, including Tricia Helfer, and Laura German.

Of course, the cast and crew weren’t the only ones excited by Netflix’s decision to resurrect the show on their platform. Everyone from Neil Gaiman, to William Shatner, to Eric Haywood, to every. single. #Lucifan inbetween was stoked to see Lucifer back.

There’s currently no word on when Lucifer season 4 might air on Netflix, or what the exact plan for the show is moving forward. But, for now, we have more devilishly good content to look forward to in the not-so-distant future.
