Get ready to don your detective caps. Lucifer returns to our screens tonight for its seventh episode, hot on the case of those missing wings.

Lucifer’s previous episode, “Favorite Son,” really upped the ante when the former Lord of Hell’s wings were snatched right out from under his nose — or, well, near as dammit. With the race on to find the thief and stop them from falling into the wrong hands, a temporary truce is called between Lucifer and his brother Amenadiel.

Just how long that truce lasts will remain to be seen.

With clues sparse for who might be responsible, we gleaned as much as we could and gave some educated guesses as to the culprit’s identity. Here’s hoping we’ll get a little more insight on “Wingman,” and put those theories to the test.

Before then, Fox have released a handful of teasers for the episode to get us anticipating it all the more.

Quitting just isn’t in Lucifer’s vocabulary

With Lucifer’s wingless predicament front and center, it’s easy enough for him to forget that Chloe has problems of her own. Namely, the Palmetto case. Chloe certainly isn’t about to forget as easily, and has taken to digging into the case in her spare time — leaving Lucifer to wonder what’s wrong with knitting as a hobby.

Though, with he possibility of a breakthrough in the case on the horizon, alongside Lucifer’s own problems, it could lead to some heightened tension between the two. Of course, Lucifer has a tried-and-tested solution for that. Really, it’s only a matter of time before she puts another bullet in him.

One way ticket to Hell

Remember that pesky mortality problem that Lucifer is also dealing with? Well, he lets slip about it to Amenadiel after an apparent run in with another gun. Up until this point, Lucifer has found it an exhilarating and perplexing amusement — another puzzle to solve, in a growing list of them.

Amenadiel, on the other hand, has another take on the whole situation. If he can’t get Lucifer to go back to Hell himself, all he has to do is wait for someone to pull the trigger on him and send him back himself. While that may have just made Amenadiel’s millennium, Lucifer doesn’t look entirely thrilled at the prospect.

Nothing quite like some brotherly bonding

As much as they try to play it off, Lucifer and Amenadiel appear to be enjoying each other’s company more than they’d care to admit. The awkwardness following their shared joke doesn’t last long, however, when Chloe arrives on the scene.

Amenadiel, for his part, is about to learn first hand exactly what kind of hold Chloe has on Lucifer. And Chloe? Well. There’s no time like the present to meet part of Lucifer’s family? But, is that perplexed look due to the lack of family resemblance or because Amenadiel has made himself non-corporeal. We guess we’ll find out soon enough.

Lucifer 1×07, “Wingman,” airs Monday, March 7 at 9 p.m. on Fox.
