HBO Max original series Love Life starring Anna Kendrick has officially been renewed for a second season.

The popular romantic comedy anthology series is the first to receive a renewal from the fledgling streamer.

Love Life stars and is executive produced by Anna Kendrick and is a fresh take on a romantic comedy anthology series about the journey from first love to lasting love, and how the people we’re with along the way make us into who we are when we finally end up with someone forever.

Season two of Love Life will still be set in New York City but will focus on a new character’s journey.

This journey will explore what happens when you’ve lived your whole life knowing who your soulmate is, only to find out years into a marriage that it’s not the right fit at all. The new season of Love Life will also key off characters in season one, with Anna Kendrick’s Darby appearing occasionally.

According to Deadline, season one of the series has become of one of the streaming platform’s top performers since its premiere. Its final four episodes are available for streaming beginning today on HBO Max.
