The cast of Love Actually are reuniting for a follow up to the film which’ll reveal what the characters have been up to.

Director Richard Curtis wrote the new Love Actually sequel for Red Nose Day, a charity event televised annually by the BBC. Curtis is a co-creator of the day benefiting Comic Relief.

“I would never have dreamt of writing a sequel to Love Actually, but I thought it might be fun to do 10 minutes to see what everyone is now up to,” Curtis says. “Who has aged best? I guess that’s the big question… or is it so obviously Liam?”

The sequel is titled Red Nose Day Actually.

“We’ve been delighted and grateful that so many of the cast are around and able to take part – and it’ll certainly be a nostalgic moment getting back together and recreating their characters 14 years later.”

The Love Actually sequel’s cast members are: Hugh Grant, Martine McCutcheon, Keira Knightley, Andrew Lincoln, Colin Firth, Lucia Moniz, Liam Neeson, Thomas Brodie-Sangster, Olivia Olson, Bill Nighy, Marcus Brigstocke and Rowan Atkinson.

Notably absent from the list is Emma Thompson, who starred opposite Alan Rickman. The latter died early last year. It’s unclear why Emma is not a part of the special.

Red Nose Day 2017 will air March 24 on the BBC. It’ll arrive on NBC May 25.
