Spider-Man actor Tom Holland has joined Lost City of Z, which will feature Sienna Miller, Charlie Hunnam, and Robert Pattinson.

Tom Holland recently signed on to be the new Spider-Man in Marvel’s Cinematic Universe, but first it looks like he’ll be doing some work alongside some other pretty big names.

Lost City of Z will be directed by James Gray, and is based on David Grann’s novel that follows Percy Fawcett, who is a soldier and explorer who disappeared in the 1920s while looking for a mythical city in the Amazon.

Production on Lost City of Z has already started in Belfast, Ireland, and will take place over the next five weeks. The shoot will continue throughout September and October, where he’ll co-star alongside Hunnam, Miller, and Pattison.

Tom Holland is a name we might start seeing a lot of, due to him grabbing the role of Marvel’s new Spider-Man, but he’ll probably be very busy doing work for Marvel as he was recently seen on the set of Captain America: Civil War.

Brad Pitt is producing the film, along with Dede Gardner and Jeremy Kleiner via Plan B Entertainment. The story sounds interesting, and the cast looks great. We look forward to finding out more about Lost City of Z as shooting continues.
