Great news, Lorde fans— the pop star has finally announced when we can expect to get our hands on her new album, Solar Power!
It’s been four long years since Melodrama, but Lorde is back and treating us to new music that’s bound to make for the perfect soundtrack to your summer.
Hot on the heels of the release of her sun-drenched new single, the pop star is finally offering fans more details with regards to her highly anticipated third studio album.
In celebration of the summer solstice on Monday (June 21), Lorde sent out an email to fans in which she revealed that Solar Power officially drops on August 20.
In addition, the singer let slip that the album will be comprised one 12 songs and two bonus tracks.

Finally, Lorde also announced that she’s gearing up to hit the road again— but fans itching to score tickets to The Solar Power Tour shouldn’t expect to be heading to an arena to catch the pop star live.
“This is thrillingly, something of an intimate tour. Theaters and green fields rather than arenas. So you gotta get in there if you really wanna go,” wrote the singer in her latest email to fans.
Pre-sale for the UK, Europe, and North America starts this Thursday at 10 am local time. For New Zealand and Australia, presale starts next Wednesday, June 30. You can check out the dates and sign up for a pre-sale codes right here.
