Good news for American Idol fans: Fox has just announced that Jennifer Lopez, Keith Urban and Harry Connick Jr. will all return for season 14 of the long-standing singing competition.

If you’re a fan of the chemistry between American Idol‘s current panel of judges, you’ll be happy to note that Jennifer Lopez, Keith Urban, and newcomer Harry Connick Jr. have all signed on to appear as judges on season 14 of the show. In a press release sent out by Fox, the broadcasting company also announced that mainstay host Ryan Seacrest would also be returning to host the show’s 14th season.

Executive producer on the show Trish Kinane commented on the good news, saying, “I am delighted that our dream team of Jennifer, Keith, and Harry are back for American Idol XIV. Their experience, humor, and passion for new talent has made them one of Idol’s strongest-ever judging panels, and coupled with the expertise and charisma of Ryan Seacrest, we are ready to get out there to find the best talent in America.”

Speaking of Seacrest’s return to host yet another season of the hit singing competition, American Idol creator and executive producer Simon Fuller said, “I am thrilled our consummate host, Mr. Ryan Seacrest, is returning for season 14, together with Jennifer, Harry and Keith. Their interaction, warmth, and experience made them an absolute joy to watch. I can’t wait to see their evolution together continue next season.”

American Idol will return to Fox for season 14 sometime this fall.
