Looking season 2 premieres this Sunday. Here are five reasons why you should be excited for the premiere!

The boys, and lady, are back for another round in Looking season 2. We had the chance to watch the premiere and put together a list of the top five things to look forward to when the show returns this Sunday on HBO!

Oil Paintings

Before NCIS: New Orleans, Scott Burka appeared on a fledgling little show called Looking. Whether he knew that his portrayal of Lynn would lead to a giant oil canvas of himself against a backdrop of redwood trees is up for debate. Be sure to see the masterpiece in all its unspeakable glory when the boys arrive at his cabin for the weekend.

1400 year old trees

Patrick is the type A trip planner. A weekend away means none of the activities San Francisco has to offer are allowed. Instead they will explore nature, see, and hug, 1400 year old trees, play board games, and take a canoe to the end of the river.

The promised land

Running into a stranger in a dark forest is not exactly the best way to start a night out. That is unless you are looking for the fairies that will guide the way to a one night only party under the light of the moon. From here you will become acquainted with Eddie (Daniel Franzese, Mean Girls) and witness some great dance moves.

Doris, Doris, Doris

Last season there were plenty of great moments between Doris (Lauren Weedman) and Dom. Her quips and unfiltered statements provided some of the funniest moments on the show. Not to mention her scene stilling Zumba class with Dom. For season 2, Doris is back as a series regular and even more willing to push the envelope.

Dom, Agustîn, and Patrick

The core of the show is about three friends and how they orbit each other. Taking Patrick, Dom, and Agustîn out of the city refocuses the lens back on the trio and not so much on the drama that awaits them individually. They can run away to the woods, but the troubles of San Francisco will be there waiting for them as season 2 carries forward!

Looking season 2, episode 1, “Looking for the Promised Land,” premieres Sunday, January 11 at 10:00 p.m. ET on HBO.
