There is a fine line between business and social relationships. Tonight’s episode of Looking, “Looking for $220/hr” walks that line as Dom, Patrick, and Agustîn buddy up to people who hold some connections.
Previously on ‘Looking’
Patrick flirts with a game designer, Kevin, at a launch party only to find out that he may turn out to be his new boss. After trying to redeem himself in Kevin’s eyes as a passionate worker, Patrick realizes that Kevin purposely made Patrick question his place professionally and asks him to work on his team.
Dom takes a detox in the sauna of the gym where he meets Lynn, the owner of a landmark flower shop in the Castro. After the two start chatting about their fleeting youth in the area, Dom makes a point to see him again in the future. Meanwhile, across town, Agustîn finally tells his boss that her artistic work is awful. He leaves the studio with a chip off his shoulder, but now carries the weight of unemployment around. CJ, a sex worker, leaves Agustîn with the advice that if you are good at something don’t hide from the title, put yourself out there and do it.
This week on ‘Looking’
Tonight’s episode takes the guys to the Folsom Street Fair. Speaking of browser histories, if you Google this, be warned. Patrick and Agustîn attend in their leather vests and collars where they meet up with CJ. Agustîn considers working with CJ on an artistic project.
Dom and Lynn meet up for lunch, but Dom may see something more than friendship in their future; a business partnership.
