HBO has released Looking‘s synopses for two all-new episodes airing in March.

Looking returns this Sunday with an all-new episode, but looking ahead at the March synopses, Patrick and Richie have quite a ways to go establishing their relationship. For Patrick, this includes bringing Richie to a family event.

Looking season 1, episode 7, “Looking for a Plus-One,” airing Sunday, March 2: “Already stressed that his parents will judge his choice of a partner in Richie (Raúl Castillo), Patrick (Jonathan Groff) reaches new levels of anxiety before his sister’s wedding, and runs into an unexpected guest when he arrives. Still unsure whether to pursue a business or personal relationship, Dom (Murray Bartlett) rebuffs Lynn’s (Scott Bakula) advice while in the throes of preparing for his restaurant popup. Unhappy with his photos of Frank (O-T Fagbenle) and CJ (TJ Linnard), Agustín (Frankie J. Alvarez) drops out of the art show, leaving Frank fuming.”

Looking season 1, episode 8, “Looking Glass,” airing Sunday, March 9: “Patrick looks to mend fences after Richie’s abrupt exit the previous day. Frank tells Agustín what he really thinks about their relationship and his art. Later, Patrick and Agustín join Dom at the opening of his restaurant popup, where Dom is surprised by Lynn’s choice of guest.”

Looking has the advantage of following Girls on HBO’s Sunday night line up, but the show is not a cookie cutter replica. The show lacks the “generational statement” its predecessor structures itself around. Instead, three friends, of varying ages and backgrounds, face similar overarching obstacles each week.

More than halfway through its freshman season, Looking has a likely shot at a second season, perhaps with an order closer to the 12 episode arc of HBO’s other shows.

Check out our recaps of the season, thus far, and be sure to check back for any news for the future of the show.

Looking returns this Sunday, February 23, with season 1, episode 6, “Looking in the Mirror,” at 10 p.m. ET on HBO
