The screenwriting and producing team behind the book to film adaptations of John Green’s Fault in Our Stars and Paper Towns are going for a three-peat.

Screenwriting duo Scott Neustadter and Michael H. Weber, and producers Wyck Godfrey and Marty Bowen will be writing and producing Looking For Alaska for Paramount, The Hollywood Reporter revealed this afternoon. Green confirmed the news on Twitter, describing it as “VERY VERY GOOD NEWS.”

Looking For Alaska’s development team seems to have shifted over the past few months. Last year Green had announced that Paramount hired Sarah Polley to direct and write the film, but now it looks like Neustadter and Weber will be taking over her screenwriting duties. At this time it’s not clear if Neustadter and Weber are rewriting the script entirely or touching up Polley’s script.

Bringing Neustadter and Weber on board is obviously a smart choice for Paramount because the studio will want their John Green adaptation to be just as good as Fault. Having the same screenwriters and producers onboard helps ensure success.

Looking For Alaska currently has no release date, but we wouldn’t be surprised if it opened in theaters sometime in 2016.

Meanwhile, 20th Century Fox will release Paper Towns starring Nat Wolff and Cara Delevingne on June 5, 2015. The film will arrive one year after The Fault in Our Stars hit theaters and made an impressive $48 million over opening weekend.
