Logan, the final movie about Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine, introduces the mysterious X-23. Get to know her in this new trailer.

James Mangold is poised to deliver a sombre, gritty and genre-defying movie in Logan, the swan song of Hugh Jackman’s iconic X-Men character.

The movie takes place in a dystopian future where Logan and Professor X (Patrick Stewart) appear to be the only Mutants to have survived some kind of wipe-out.

But there is another: X-23, a character who (at least in the X-Men comics) is a female clone of Logan, and possesses his Wolverine DNA.

In the final trailer for the movie we get to see her in action, as well as some mind-bending reveals about the ‘reality’ of the X-Men universe:

The beautiful trailer not only reveals the terrifying power of X-23 but it also features a melancholy monologue from Professor X, who explains to Logan the true beauty of life: Family, a home, people who love each other. “You should take a moment,” he tells Logan, “to feel it.”

Now we know why Mangold initially pitched this film as Little Miss Sunshine with Marvel characters!
