Listen to all the songs from Glee season 5, episode 17, titled “Opening Night,” featuring songs by NONONO, The Cardigans and more.

This week on Glee Rachel falls victim to Googling herself and reading all of the negative comments from bloggers and internet trolls after the Funny Girl previews. The bad feedback sends her into a panic where she retreats to her bed in order to hide from her big Broadway debut. Amongst all the cold feet we also see the return of Will Shuester and Sue Sylvester who come into town to see Rachel’s musical.

Preview all the songs from ‘Glee’ season 5, episode 17 below:

Considering this episode is all about Rachel’s opening night, there is no shortage of Funny Girl songs. Lea Michelle was basically made to sing Barbara Streisand songs so “I’m The Greatest Star” of course sounds incredible. It’s always interesting when Glee recycles songs they’ve done in the past so we’re curious how you think this version compares to Kurt’s version from season 3.

The episode isn’t only featuring music from the Broadway show and we get to see some of our favorite pairings perform together this week. We love anytime the three Glee divas get together and Rachel, Santana and Mercedes performing “Pumpin Blood” by NONONO is no exception. They all have such powerful voices but still compliment each other so well at the same time. These girls need to get on an album together, stat!

Finally, Will and Sue’s trip to New York is sure to bring an interesting dynamic, especially since Will is there to support Rachel and Sue is there to, well, see her fail. We’ll see the duo singing “NYC” from the musical Annie and we think they sound great together. Jane Lynch doesn’t get a ton of opportunities to sing on the show so it’s always a treat when she gets featured in a number.

“Opening Night” is almost here and based on the songs this week we definitely won’t be disappointed after all of the buildup to the big night.

Which song are you most excited to see performed this week?

Glee season 5, episode 16 airs Tuesday, April 15 at 8 p.m. eastern/pacific on Fox.
