Last night on Lip Sync Battle Malin Akerman and Stephen Merchant used their sex appeal to win over the crowd.

In the first round of last night’s Lip Sync Battle, Malin Akerman revealed an interesting story about her competitor Stephen Merchant. A drunk comment from him to Malin inspired her first song, “Pour Some Sugar On Me,” by Def Leppard.

Akerman proved that she knows how move like a rock star and more than likely had the crowd internally thanking Merchant for inspiring her to use this song. It definitely doesn’t look like it’s her first time. Afterwards Merchant complained, “I didn’t realize we were allowed to use our sex appeal!” And also joked that her performance was pornographic.

For his first song, Merchant tried being his own sex symbol by using “Hero” by Enrique Iglesias. His performance was a lot more toned down than Akerman’s but still had the crowd going. At the end, he was surprised to learn that he had been focusing his song on a guy in the crowd and blamed the lights.

In the second round, Akerman brought some hip hop with Jason Derulo’s “Talk Dirty.” She effortlessly switched from Rock to Hip Hop in a way that looks like she had been practicing for weeks. Even LL Cool J was impressed and said Akerman looked like she had taken clothes out of his closet. Chrissy Teigan commented that Akerman looked like the American Girl Doll version of thug Samantha.

But when Merchant came out in a dance cage, with leather chaps on to preform Christina Aguilera’s “Dirrty,” we forgot all about Akerman. It’s clear that he’s committed to the role, as he had “Nasty,” written across the bottom of his booty shorts. And he wasn’t afraid to flaunt the barely there outfit in front of everyone. Akerman did get Merchant to admit that he stuffed his shorts with a sock, which Chrissy Teigan happily took.

It turns out that if you wear leather chaps you automatically win, so Merchant got to bring home the belt this week on Lip Sync Battle.

Who do you think should have won ‘Lip Sync Battle’?
