Lionsgate’s Highlander reboot might have just found its star in Henry Cavill.

According to Deadline, Superman vet Henry Cavill is currently in talks to star in an upcoming reboot of the 1980s Highlander franchise.

Directed by Russell Mulcahy, the first Highlander movie originally premiered back in 1986. Told flashbacks to the Scottish Highlands in 1536, and in fragments of the present day, the movie centered on an immortal Scottish swordsman who must square off against his immortal opponent, who will stop at nothing to get his hands on the ultimate prize.

The movie went on to spawn four additional movies, the last of which premiered in 2007.
