Lin-Manuel Miranda took his son to see his smash musical Hamilton, and the almost-three-year-old had some adorable reactions.

Not every toddler is lucky enough to snag a seat (and two booster seats!) to the hottest show on Broadway, but when your dad is Lin-Manuel Miranda, anything is possible.

A passionate theater geek even before he earned fame as a creator, Miranda and his wife Vanessa Nadal took their son Sebastian to experience Act I of Hamilton. (Act II, understandably, is a bit much to handle before you turn three!)

Miranda recorded Sebastian’s responses on Twitter, and we must warn you — your heart may actually melt with the cuteness.

Already keyed in to the complex dynamics of the theater, Sebastian’s response to Hamilton‘s iconic opening number focused on the technical elements.

To “My Shot,” Miranda’s son responded with “various punching sounds” and “furious applause.” He was also thrilled to see a familiar face onstage during “The Schuyler Sisters.”

Following numbers were punctuated by Sebastian’s keen observations on costuming and props.

Sebastian was a big fan of “Yorktown,” punching the air enthusiastically. He also had a unique interpretation of the moving duet “Dear Theodosia,” which he credits to his mom.

All told, Act I of Hamilton seems to have been a smashing success for the littlest Miranda, who was sure to offer his dad a few keen critiques of the Tony-winning musical.

“We will try act two when he’s a little older,” Lin-Manuel added on Twitter.

In addition to his work on Broadway, Miranda will be seen in next year’s Mary Poppins Returns, and is working on adapting The Kingkiller Chronicle for Showtime. Miranda is also working tirelessly to raise money for Puerto Rico in the continuing aftermath of Hurricane Maria — to help, visit HispanicFederation.org/Unidos.
