Lin-Manuel Miranda’s final performance as Alexander Hamilton took place Saturday night, and the show decided to livestream the curtain call.
Though we still don’t know when Hamilton will be released to the masses (it was professionally filmed with the original cast in late June), Hamilton gave fans a rare glimpse into the action when they livestreamed Lin-Manuel Miranda’s final curtain call on July 9. The curtain call lasted just over two minutes as attendees said farewell to Lin and other outgoing stars Phillipa Soo and Leslie Odom Jr.
It’s tough to hear in the video, but the orchestra played ‘The West Wing’ theme for Lin:
The orchestra just played The West Wing Theme for @Lin_Manuel curtain call. I'm fine…just fine… #leavemehere #imdead

Shortly after leaving the stage, Lin wasted no time in cutting off his Hamilhair:

He also stepped outside to say thank you to fans who were waiting for him in the rain:
The New York Times has a nice round up of the evening if you wish to read more about Lin’s final night. We also have a big farewell to Lin of our own…
