Get ready to see a lot more of YouTube superstar Lilly Singh. The social media influencer has just landed a role in HBO’s adaptation of Fahrenheit 451.

The upcoming adaptation will bring Ray Bradbury’s classic dystopian novel to life as it depicts a world in which books are outlawed and firemen burn any that are found.

According to Variety, Singh is set to play a tabloid vlogger named Raven, who works with the fire department and aids in spreading propaganda by broadcasting book-burning raids to avid fans.

Though the comedic YouTube personality is no stranger to film (she’s scored small roles in Bad Moms and Ice Age: Collision Course in the past) her involvement with Fahrenheit 451 marks Singh’s first major acting role.

Additionally, the budding actress will be in great company. HBO’s highly anticipated adaptation also stars Michael B. Jordan (Black Panther), Michael Shannon (Man of Steel), and Sofia Boutella (The Mummy).

Like the rest of Team Super, we’ll be excited to keep an eye out for Lilly Singh when Fahrenheit 451 premieres on HBO soon!

Better known to some by her YouTube moniker, iiSuperwomanii, Singh is best known for her hilarious video content and her penchant for spreading positivity.

The YouTube star, who first started uploading videos in 2010, has amassed over 11.73 million subscribers and counting on her regular channel, and an additional 2 million on her side channel, SuperwomanVlogs.
