Liam Gallagher’s first-ever show as a solo artist will be in Manchester, with the funds going to the victims of the terror attack earlier this week.

The world was shaken after the terror attack at the Ariana Grande concert in Manchester, which left 22 dead and more than 100 people injured.

As reported by Variety, Liam Gallagher of Oasis fame has announced a surprise mini tour to mark his debut as a solo artist, and his first stop will be his home town Manchester.

All proceeds from the concert, which is Tuesday next week, will go to the Red Cross’ We Love Manchester Emergency Fund, to benefit the victims of the horrific attack.

Says Gallagher, “I just knew I had to. We all have to do what we can. I want to try and help pick people up.”

Tickets went on sale Friday and quickly sold out. Gallagher will be performing songs from his debut solo album, As You Were.
