The Huffington Post had a first look at two posters for Les Miserables today, and they offer new glimpses at highly-anticipated characters.

The first poster features Sacha Baron Cohen and Helena Bonham Carter as the Thenardiers. The second is of Cosette and Marius (played by Amanda Seyfried and Eddie Redmayne):

How do you think everyone looks?

The last batch of Les Miserables posters were released in mid October and featured Anne Hathaway, Hugh Jackman, Russell Crowe, and Amanda Seyfried in special portraits.

Yesterday we learned that star Anne Hathaway will be hosting the November 10 episode of Saturday Night Live with musical guest Rihanna.

More excitingly, last month Hugh Jackman revealed that an entirely new song had been written for him in the movie which is not found in the stage musical. “It’s kind of an amazing honour they came to see the show and I was singing for 2 1/2 hours so they saw every possible colour of my voice and they said ‘right, now we’re going to write it for you,'” he said in an interview.

Finally, we highly recommend watching this behind-the-scenes look at the making of Les Miserables that highlights how each of the actors sung live with each take.

Les Miserables hits theaters Christmas Day. Thanks to HuffPo.
