Ahead of tomorrow’s United States opening of Les Miserables in theaters, Fandango surveyed those who have purchased tickets and rounded up interesting stats.

· 86% said the film’s live-on-the-set singing increased their interest in seeing the movie;

· 69% had seen the play or were familiar with the play’s songs;

· 62% admitted they only see “just a handful” of movies each year;

· 45% picked Hugh Jackman as the one actor they were most excited to see in “Les Mis,” while 34% chose Anne Hathaway, 10% selected Russell Crowe and 6% claimed Amanda Seyfried;

· 35% cited the power of the story as the single most important factor motivating them to buy a ticket; 21% picked the cast; while only 16% said they were fans of movie musicals and only 2% named the awards buzz as a factor.
