Les Miserables filming hit the Naval College in London recently, which doubled as Paris in 1832. New images from the shoot have emerged online, giving us our first look at one of the most iconic set pieces of the story!

An official image of the filming was released through the film’s official Twitter feed, giving us our first glimpse at The Elephant of Bastille, which Gavroche uses as shelter. The scaled replica is impressively large, but it wasn’t the last of the day’s surprises. Several leaked pictures of the film depict what appears to be the start of the June Rebellion with the Friends of The ABC taking a stand, most probably during the number “One Day More”.
