Leonardo DiCaprio and Martin Scorsese are gearing up to join forces yet again.

Variety reports that Leonardo DiCaprio and Martin Scorsese have both boarded Imperative Entertainment’s upcoming adaptation of David Grann’s New York Times bestseller, Killers of the Flower Moon.

Scorsese will direct and executive produce on the upcoming film while DiCaprio will star as the lead. Eric Roth, whose credits include Forrest Gump and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, will pen the script for the upcoming adaptation.

Set in 1920s Oklahoma, Killers of the Flower Moon revolves around an FBI investigation in to the murder of the Osage Nation— a tribe who winds up getting murdered one by one after oil was discovered on their land.

In a statement announcing his involvement with the project, Scorsese spoke of why he’s thrilled get to work on the upcoming adaptation.

“When I read David Grann’s book, I immediately started seeing it— the people, the settings, the action— and I knew that I had to make it into a movie,” said Scorsese according to Variety. “I’m so excited to be working with [screenwriter] Eric Roth and reuniting with Leo DiCaprio to bring this truly unsettling American story to the screen.”

There’s currently no word on when Killers of the Flower will hit the big screen, but production on the film is reportedly set to start in the summer of 2019.
