The first trailer for LEGO: The Hobbit hits just in time for The Desolation of Smaug, the HD remakes of Final Fantasy X/X-2 finally get a release date, and Sony starts PS4 sales in 12 more countries in today’s games roundup.

In the first trailer for LEGO: The Hobbit, Bilbo embarks on a zany blocky adventure with wizard Gandalf and Co. to claim back the Dwarven Kingdom of Erebor.

LEGO: The Hobbit will cover the events of the first two films in Peter Jackson’s trilogy, The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey and The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug. If the first LEGO: The Hobbit game performs well, it is likely that a LEGO: The Hobbit 2 game could be made for The Hobbit: There and Back Again.

LEGO: The Hobbit releases for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Wii U, Nintendo 3DS, PlayStation Vita, and PC in 2014.

After teasing the JRPG remakes for years, game making legends Square Enix have revealed that Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD will release on March 18 in North America and March 21 in Europe.

The remakes will have improved graphics and all of the improvements of the international version. They will release on one Blu-ray disc for the PS3, while “purchasing Final Fantasy X HD on Vita will also net you a download code inside the box for Final Fantasy X-2 HD,” reports IGN.

Sony has unrolled the PS4 in another batch of countries. The PlayStation Blog reports that 12 new countries received the PS4 today, including, “Czech Republic, Hungary, Greece, Slovakia, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman and South Africa.”

The PlayStation 4 released in America on November 15, and November 29 in Europe.
