The first full-length The LEGO Movie trailer has hit the internet today and offers lots of fun footage from the upcoming CGI adventure.

The LEGO Movie includes a few familiar faces in their miniaturized form like Batman and Wonder Woman (properties owned by WB).

The film follows Emmet, “an ordinary, rules-following, perfectly average LEGO minifigure who is mistakenly identified as the most extraordinary person and the key to saving the world,” writes Warner Bros. in the film’s synopsis. “He is drafted into a fellowship of strangers on an epic quest to stop an evil tyrant, a journey for which Emmet is hopelessly and hilariously underprepared.”

One moment we love in particular is when it’s noted that there are only $100 bills in the LEGO toy world (as those who’ve played with the real toys know). We suspect the movie will take other jabs at its source material considering those who see it will be very familiar with a lot of the original toys.

The LEGO world looks beautiful in 3D animation and should shine even brighter on the big screen. The movie obviously is targeted to kids but should be enjoyable for those who are older but grew up playing with LEGOs.

The LEGO Movie stars Chris Pratt as Emmet, Will Ferrell as President Business, Elizabeth Banks as Lucy, Will Arnett as Batman, Cobie Smulders as Wonder Woman, Nick Offerman as Metalbeard and Alison Brie as Uni-Kitty, Liam Neeson as Bad Cop, and Morgan Freeman as Vitruvius. The film hits theaters February 7, 2014 and is directed by Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs helmer Phil Lord.
