Lord Business might have been defeated, but The Lego Movie 2 shows that the troubles in the Lego world are far from over.

The Lego Movie first delighted and surprised us back in 2014, proving that a story about intrepid Lego figures fighting for freedom against the tyranny of being superglued into place could actually be super engaging. And while we’ve had to wait quite a long time for our return to our friends Wyldstyle and Emmet, it’s finally time to see what our heroes have been up to since they saved the world.

In the new trailer for The Lego Movie 2, it seems that though Lord Business and his evil plans were thwarted, things aren’t totally great in the world of Legos. And with the arrival of a new, mysterious threat, it’s up to Emmet to save his friends and the world.

Just like the first Lego Movie, The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part is a total all-star cast. Chris Pratt and Elizabeth Banks are back to reprise their roles of Emmet and Wyldstyle, respectively, but a lot of your faves (and what are sure to be new faves) are back at it in the sequel.

Allison Brie is returning Unikitty and Will Arnett is returning as Batman. But added to the cast list for the sequel is Brooklyn 99‘s Stephanie Beatriz as the mysterious Sweet Mayhem. Tiffany Haddish is also joining the cast, voicing a character that is still being kept under wraps.

With such an impressive cast and what seems to be a return to the sweet-yet-hilarious storytelling that made us all fall in love with the first Lego Movie, The Lego Movie 2 is sure to be a great film that will delight filmgoers of all ages.

Unfortunately, we’ll have to wait a bit before we can actually see the movie. The Lego Movie 2 premieres in theaters on February 8, 2019. So if you need us, we’ll be rewatching the original to help pass the time.
