The first trailer for The Lego Batman Movie has arrived, and it looks like it’ll be a great followup to 2014’s The Lego Movie.

On Tuesday, we showed you the first images from the film, which depicted a lonely Bruce Wayne in his empty house as well as the superhero flying through the streets of Gotham. Now we have the film’s first trailer.

The introduction is quintessentially Lego Batman, and even if that’s all we got in this trailer, it would’ve been a delight. That ridiculously long list of other WB Batman movies serves as a reminder how many times we’ve seen this story before, though perhaps not in exactly this way. We can only hope they drop a lot of references to Batman v Superman throughout the film.

Speaking of which, after seeing Batman in his big house all by himself, eating a fancy lobster dinner, he’s joined by the Justice League, most prominent among them being Superman and Wonder Woman.

And as Bruce struggles with typing the right time into the microwave, we realize something profound — Batman is all of us. And we are all Batman.

One synopsis for the film reads, “The story is set around the solitary figure in his killer hide-out — all the Batsuits and silk kimonos he wants — but whose main relationship is with his butler Alfred (voiced by Ralph Fiennes). Batman’s world upends with the introduction of Dick Grayson (or Robin, voiced by Michael Cera) and Barbara Gordon (or Batgirl, voiced by Rosario Dawson).”

You can also expect to see The Joker (Zach Galifianakis) and Gotham’s mayor (Mariah Carey). If you’re surprised that the mayor will be female, prepare yourself for some traditionally male roles to go to the ladies. Director Chris McKay also promises “exhaustive” cameos in the film.

The Lego Batman Movie will arrive in cinemas on February 10, 2017.
