Suits star Patrick J. Adams will appear in the Legends of Tomorrow season 1 finale as a “beloved superhero from the DC canon.”

We previously reported that Legends was casting a mystery hero whose agenda serves as “a launching off point for season 2.” Now, according to EW, that will be Adams. He will appear in the season 1 finale, titled “Legendary,” as well as the season 2 premiere. There is also a potential for more appearances.

The identity of the role is being kept a secret for now, but said character is being described as a “fun character the fans will love.” Booster Gold is a common theory because he is Rip Hunter’s father. Booster Gold was born in the 25th century, but he traveled back in time to use his advanced technology to become a hero.

Additionally, Variety reports that Mitchell Kummen will appear in the April 21 episode of Legends of Tomorrow, titled “Last Refuge.” He will be playing the younger version of Mick Rory/Heatwave and is described as “a confused teenager whose love of fire becomes lethal.”

Kummen’s credits include Horns, The Tomorrow People and Detective McLean.

The last we saw of Mick Rory, he’d betrayed the team to a band of pirates after realizing that his long-time partner, Leonard Snart, was turning heroic. The Legends defeated the pirates, and Leonard volunteered to “take care” of Mick. He brought his partner out to a secluded wood and the two faced off, with the assumption being that one would kill the other. Leonard was the one to emerge, and the team assumed he’d killed Mick.

However, this casting — plus knowledge of comic book tropes — would seem to indicate that he is alive after all.

Legends of Tomorrow airs Thursdays at 8:00 p.m. ET on The CW.
