Great news, Avatar fans— The Legend of Korra is gearing up to hit Netflix incredibly soon!

Avatar: The Last Airbender has been reigning supreme over on Netflix ever since all three seasons of the series made their debut via the online streaming platform on May 15.

In fact, the hit animated series recently made Netflix history on July 14 after spending a whopping 58 days in a row in the Top 10 list of most popular shows on the streaming service.

Now, fans new and old of the show can look forward to binging the sequel series when The Legend of Korra hits the online streaming platform in just a few short weeks.

Netflix took to Twitter to share the big news with ATLA fans far and wide on Tuesday (July 21).

“She’s the avatar, you’ve got to deal with it. The Legend of Korra is coming to Netflix on August 14th in the US,” tweeted the online streaming giant, along with a choice GIF of the new titular Avatar in question.

Though Korra serves as a sequel series to the original, it doesn’t pick up directly after Aang finally squares off against Fire Lord Ozai in the epic ATLA series finale.

Instead, Korra is set 70 years after the events of Avatar: The Last Airbender, and tells the story of Aang’s successor— a member of the Southern Water Tribe who’s already got a knack for the elements of fire, earth, and water. She’s not quite up to par on airbending just yet. Lucky for Korra, she’s got Aang’s son, Tenzin, to help her out there.

All four season of The Legend of Korra will be available to stream via Netflix beginning August 14.
