Who’s ready for some Legacies season 2 premiere teases? The episode is just two short days away, so finish up your season 1 rewatches, read up on all things season 2, and get ready to see what the Salvatore School has been up to since we left it last March.

There is so much to be excited about with fall TV making its grand return, but nothing has me more excited than the Legacies season 2 premiere.

I can’t wait to see what Hope has been up to, and how the world has changed since it has forgotten her. Not to mention how her absence is affecting all her friends, especially Landon Kirby, as he is undoubtedly the closest to her of anyone these days.

If you haven’t been stalking the internet for any mention of Legacies season 2, I have curated all the official information we have into this one easy article. Give that a read through, and you’ll know everything you need to know going into the Legacies season 2 premiere.

I was lucky enough to get a chance to check out the Legacies season 2 premiere a couple days early, and I want to share my good fortune by passing along a few of the finest teases I can without bringing the wrath of the Legacies Powers-That-Be down upon me. So, enjoy these little tidbits, and get ready for the Legacies season 2 premiere this Thursday at 9 p.m. Eastern. I can say it is most DEFINITELY worth the wait.

Here are just a few of the most minor details awaiting you in the Legacies season 2 premiere:

Alaric isn’t Headmaster at the Salvatore School anymore, but he hasn’t given up the world of the supernatural

In fact, he’s pretty much neck deep in Malivore muck trying to figure out who they’ve forgotten. And when you add in all the Merge stuff Josie is bugging him about, he’s definitely not getting away from the supernatural just because he can’t call the Salvatore School home any longer.

There is no shortage of magic in this episode

Whether it’s from Josie and Lizzie using it to talk in the witchy version of Facetime, Hope using it to make her time in Malivore more palatable, or a locator spell or two, this season is not pulling any punches when it comes to the witches using their abilities.

Alaric’s avoidance tactics have not gotten any smoother

Josie might want answers about that Ascendant she and Lizzie found in his office last season, but he is doing everything he can to avoid telling her the who, what, and where that is hiding at the other end of that particular magical object.

We see Hope do a truly Klaus-like thing, but for much better reasons than he ever gave for any of his more selfish deeds

And no, I’m not talking throat slitting, heart-pulling, or breaking any necks. I mean, putting herself and her interests first, and not trusting someone just because they’re saying all the right things. Say what you want about Klaus Mikaelson, but he always remembered who had earned his trust and only gave it to those who truly deserved it.

Lizzie has done a LOT of growing up over the summer

She still has her vivacious spirit, but I think you’ll all be surprised by the maturity we see from her. I was way more than pleasantly surprised to see the growth her character has made while overseas with Caroline for the summer. Way past just learning not to take Josie for granted or going full bitch all the time, Lizzie is doing the work to control the bipolar disorder that has been making her life so unpredictable lately.

That pink prism we saw in the stills has a different job than the white-ish one that Hope used last season

I think, at first glance, we all kinda thought it was just another one of Emma’s therapy prisms, but this one definitely has a totally different skill. I can’t help but wonder how many types of prisms exist in the Legacies-verse, and, if they are all for different forms of communication, is there maybe one for communing with the dead?

M.G. has a new crush, and I think this is gonna have long-term consequences

We knew that a new love interest was coming for M.G., but in the Legacies season 2 premiere, we learn that it’s not just a simple crush. There is always something complicated about love when Mystic Falls is even the slightest bit involved, and I can’t wait to see how this relationship unfolds throughout season 2.

Alaric didn’t take getting voted out very well

Alaric was voted out in a 3-1 vote, where Dorian, Josie, Kaleb, and Jed were the only votes. Dorian doesn’t seem eager to tell Alaric how he voted either, so is he keeping it a secret to save Alaric from learning how Josie voted, or because he couldn’t in good conscience allow Alaric’s betrayal to the school to go unpunished?

Landon is a damn good friend

With Hope gone, he brings wolf-Raf food, spends time with him by setting up movie nights, and worries the second Raf gets off his normal visitation schedule. I don’t know how long it will be before Landon remembers Hope Mikaelson, but if his time without her lets us get to know him on a more deeply personal level, I will endure this torturous tenure.

How excited are you for the ‘Legacies’ season 2 premiere?
