Soundtracks are very important to the heart and soul of a show, and Legacies is lucky to have an uber-talented maestro carefully crafting its musical identity.
Anyone who’s watched an episode of The Vampire Diaries or The Originals and paid any attention to the music can tell you that this universe has had one of the most incredible artists collating its musical identity. And that same genius is working his magic on Legacies, too.
I’m, of course, talking about Chris Mollere, who has hand selected songs for all three TVD-Universe shows since the beginning. He has built playlist after playlist for me, simply by putting incredible, emotion-inducing music in each episode, and helping me search out those songs and artists by making the song list for each episode pretty easy to find.
A quick trip to his Twitter account will show you that he is happy to share the songs and artists he’s selected every week, so no need to panic if you hear a song you absolutely must have in your library.
Here are some of my favorites so far. Some of these songs will undoubtedly stay locked in my must-play list for a long time, so hopefully you discover a new artist or two and find another way to enjoy Legacies.
