The first official trailer for John Hillcoat’s (The Road) new prohibition-era drama, Lawless, starring Tom Hardy and Shia LaBeouf has been released.

Lawless is based on a script by Nick Cave (The Preposition, lead singer of Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds):

Set in the Depression-era Franklin County, Virginia, a bootlegging gang is threatened by authorities who want a cut of their profits.
