A new Inside Llewyn Davis trailer has been released, and it offers little more than to show that critics have responded positively to the film.

A ridiculous fifth trailer has been released for the Coen brothers’ upcoming singer-songwriter film Inside Llewyn Davis. Why was a fifth needed? It appears that the only reason this newest trailer exists is to show that critics who have seen the film at film festivals have given it good reviews, but one would guess that could be achieved in TV spots.

Even CBS joking played along that their fifth trailer was a bit much:

Recently the single from Marcus Mumford and Oscar Isaac that has been featured prominently in promotion for the film was released in full.

The previous trailer showed us a bit more of John Goodman’s character, who looks like he’ll be delivering a lot of dark, dry humor in the film from Academy Award winning filmmakers Joel and Ethan Coen.

Here’s the synopsis:

“Inside Llewyn Davis” follows an aspiring singer-songwriter (Isaac) as he navigates the 1960s folk-music scene in New York City’s Greenwich Village. Grammy-winner T Bone Burnett produced the film’s soundtrack which includes music performed by, among others, Oscar Isaac, Marcus Mumford and Justin Timberlake. Robert Graf served as executive producer, T Bone Burnett served as executive music producer and Marcus Mumford as associate music producer.
