Glee star Chris Colfer has revealed the title and cover art for his next book in his Land of Stories series.

Talking with People Magazine, Colfer dished on what’s next for him regarding his magical Land of Stories series, which follows twins Alex and Connor as they discover that fairy tales are real and explore the worlds they had only previously read about.

Land of Stories book 4 will be titled The Land of Stories: Beyond the Kingdoms and will continue to explore the twins’ family history. The cover art is below:

The Land of Stories: Beyond the Kingdom release date is July 7, 2015.

Speaking to People, Colfer explains that this book is going to be different from the previous three. “This is the first time that the lead characters will be traveling into works of literature, so they rub elbows with characters from Peter Pan, Alice in Wonderland, Robin Hood and all kinds of classic characters,” he says.

Indeed, on the cover you can see references to Peter Pan, Merlin and King Arthur, Robin Hood, Alice in Wonderland, and the Wizard of Oz.

The Land of Stories series will conclude with five books. Colfer explains, “I thought that anything after the fifth book, story-wise, might have been too stretched or too forced. But the plot for five books came to me very, very easily. I didn’t want to expand it out and have the stories to be sloppy at the end. I wanted the stories that I tell to be meaningful.”

Colfer also promises us a happy ending — “at least for the characters we like.”

When asked if Colfer would ever be open to adapting his series for television or the big screen, the author says, “Oh, yes. Yes, yes. That’s definitely in the works. I am horribly superstitious so I won’t say anything else, but yeah, it’s definitely in the works.”

This is a bit more of a definitive statement than the last time he commented on an adaptation.
