There’s no need to fear, Lancelot will be making his way into Once Upon a Time‘s season 5 Camelot arc after all!
Following the casting announcement for Guinevere, King Arthur, and Merlin, fans of Once Upon a Time were left to wonder if they would ever see Lancelot on screen again. According to EW, Eddie Kitsis and Adam Horowitz confirmed that Lancelot will make an appearance in season 5. Sinqua Walls will reprise the role.
Kitsis represented all of our thoughts when he commented, “Oh man, you can’t go to Camelot and not see Lancelot.” Exactly!
But whether or not Lancelot will remain deceased in the current timeline is still up in the air. The character may only appear in flashbacks. Last we saw on the show, Cora killed Lancelot ala Zelena killing Marian in order to take on the form of his body and manipulate Emma and Snow.
His history with Snow White alone is enough to bring the former Knight of the Round Table back for another go, but we feel it is his connections to Guinevere are what will give season 5 some juicer tales.
Who will he join in the land of Camelot? That has yet to be decided among the creators, but we have some ideas!
