Tired of all the heterosexuals on The Bachelor and The Bachelorette? Logo and Lance Bass have you covered: A new dating competition Finding Prince Charming will premiere later this year.

The new series hosted by the N’Sync alum “will include 13 charming and gorgeous suitors, all housed together, who compete to win the heart of one of the nation’s most eligible gay heartthrobs. The sexy suitors grapple to stand out from the crowd all hoping for a moment of intimate connection, romance and, perhaps, true love. One by one, the suitors are eliminated until the heartthrob chooses one ideal man to sweep him off of his feet and commit to an exclusive relationship.”

Pamela Post, SVP of Original Programming for Logo, said in a statement, “Logo has a long history of showcasing LGBTQ-focused stories with memorable characters that transcend pop culture. ‘Finding Prince Charming’ will take viewers on a whirlwind journey through modern love and relationships in a way that only Logo can do.”

Dating competition shows — whether you love ’em or hate ’em — are big hits right now, from ABC’s The Bachelor to Lifetime’s excellent scripted drama UnReal. Given the progress LGBT rights have made over the past decade, now seems like the perfect time to give a show like this another shot on television. Your move, ABC!

Bravo took a stab at a gay Bachelor over a decade ago with the launch of Boy Meets Boy, but the show only lasted one season (and had a lame twist in which several of the contestants were straight).
