Lana Del Rey is gearing up to release a book of poetry.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, recording artist Lana Del Rey is gearing up to publish her first book.

Titled Violet Bent Backwards Over the Grass, the upcoming title is set to be published by Simon & Schuster and will feature a collection of more than 30 poems.

In a statement announcing her forthcoming book of poems, Del Rey spoke more on the process of writing the poems for the book.

Violet Bent Backwards Over the Grass is the title poem of the book and the first poem I wrote of many, some of which came to me in their entirety, which I dictated and then typed out, and some that I worked laboriously picking apart each word to make the perfect poem,” said Del Rey. “They are eclecti9c and honest and not trying to be anything other than what they are and for that reason I’m proud of them, especially because the spirit in which they were written was very authentic.”

Fans who wish to get their hands on a copy will have to hold out until September for the hardback version to debut.

The good news is, Del Rey fans won’t have to wait that long before they get to experience the poetry in question.

In addition to the hardback version of the book, Del Rey also announced that she’ll also be releasing a spoken word performance of her poetry in the form of an audiobook.

Del Rey is re-teaming with pal and Normal F-ing Rockwell producer Jack Antonoff to bring the spoken word performance to life. Specifically, Antonoff will create music to go along with Del Rey’s dictation.

Lana Del Rey’s spoken word audiobook will be available to download on July 28, with Vinyl and CD editions following on October 2.

The hardback version of Violet Bent Backwards Over the Grass will be available for purchase beginning September 29.
