Lady Gaga’s Born This Way Ball won’t be making a stop in Indonesia, as the permit for the June 3 concert was denied following protests by Islamic groups.

According to the Associated Press, Indonesian police denied the permit due to security concerns after some groups threatened to use physical force to prevent the singer from getting off her plane.

Islamic groups, lawmakers and religious leaders have criticized Mother Monster for her style.

“She’s a vulgar singer who wears only panties and a bra when she sings, and she stated she is the envoy of the devil’s child and that she will spread satanic teaching,” Salim Alatas, the Jakarta head of hardline Islamic Defender Front (FPI), told Reuters. “This is dangerous.”

Gaga faced similar issues when she visited South Korea last month. Only fans 18 or older were allowed into the concert.

There’s no word yet on whether tickets will be refunded for the Indonesian concert.
