The New Year will usher in a new set of resolutions — and a Lady Gaga, Tony Bennett duet album.

Though its existence has been known for several months, Bennett confirmed during a Reddit AMA today that the new album in which he sings several classics with Lady Gaga will be released on January 1, 2014. A title for the album hasn’t been released yet. “I am very excited about the album, I think it will be very well-accepted when it comes out,” he said during the AMA.

In separate interviews Bennett has described the album as “a very sensational jazz album, with great jazz artists on it.” He added, “It came out wonderful.”

This won’t be the first time Gaga and Bennett have performed a duet. The two released a cover of “This Lady is a Tramp” in October 2011. The upbeat, fun performance was very well received. You can watch it below:

Meanwhile, Lady Gaga is in the middle of releasing her fourth studio album titled ARTPOP. Yesterday she unveiled the cover in which we saw it split between art and pop with half of the background image depicting Early Renaissance artist Botticelli’s “Birth of Venus.” Jeff Koons pays tribute to himself in the album art as well with a metal reflective ball – a style best associated with his work.

ARTPOP drops on November 11, and a new song from the album titled “Aura” will see its official release this week to promote a new film Gaga stars in titled Machete Kills.
