Lady Gaga tweeted her approval of Alice Cooper’s “Born This Way” cover Wednesday.

During his set at Bonnaroo last weekend, Cooper put his own spin on Gaga’s hit and changed the lyrics to tell his personal story. Mother Monster is all for it.

“My mama told me when I was young, we were all born super stars. She rolled my hair and put my lipstick on, and covered up all my scars,” Cooper sang. “To be a freak is not a sin. There’s nothing that they can do,” he added later. Watch his rendition below.
