A new era of Lady Gaga is underway. Her new single “Perfect Illusion” is now available for purchase, download, and streaming.
Lady Gaga has just released her first solo single (sans “Til It Happens To You”) in support of a solo album in over 3 years. “Perfect Illusion” is now available for purchase on iTunes as well as streaming on such services like Apple Music and Spotify.

Lady Gaga started promoting the new single last month when she announced that “Perfect Illusion” would be released “in September.” We found out earlier this week on her social media channels that the single would be released today, Friday, September 9 along with cover art and what appears to be some images from the music video, though that can not be confirmed.
As for her next full-length album, we have yet to hear any details whatsoever about that, other than that we should expect it before the end of the year. Following her Golden Globe win for her role on American Horror Story earlier this year, Lady Gaga confirmed that new music was on its way and sure enough it’s here.
“Perfect Illusion” follows 2013’s ARTPOP album which was received highly by fans but was shunned by critics.
Lady Gaga is set to return to American Horror Story when the mysterious season six begins on September 14. It’s looking like September and the remainder of 2016 is going to be very busy for the pop star-turned-actress balancing both her music and television projects.
