Super Bowl 50’s National Anthem will be performed by “Poker Face” and “Bad Romance” singer Lady Gaga on Sunday.

The news comes from The Associated Press, who also reports that Academy Award winning actress Marlee Matlin will perform the Star-Spangled Banner simultaneously in sign language.

Idina Menzel (Frozen, Wicked) performed at last year’s Super Bowl. Other superstars who’ve performed the National Anthem in recent years include Billy Joel, Jordin Sparks, Jennifer Hudson, Carrie Underwood, Christina Aguilera, Kelly Clarkson, and Alicia Keys.

Coldplay will helm Super Bowl 50’s Half Time show, which is rumored to feature Beyoncé as a surprise guest.

Gaga’s participation is just the latest in a long line of big moments for the singer over the past year. Might she use the attention surrounding her Super Bowl appearance to announce news about her next album?
