Kermit appeared on The View yesterday and premiered the first clip from his upcoming Thanksgiving Special with Lady Gaga.

In the clip, Gaga and The Muppets are trying to figure out what to do for the grand finale of the special. We don’t get any music in this preview, but the singer’s interaction with the puppets is charming.

Lady Gaga & The Muppets’ Holiday Spectacular is a 90-minute special airing Thursday, November 28 (Thanksgiving) at 9:30 p.m. on ABC. Guest stars during the event include Sir Elton John, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, RuPaul, and Kristen Bell. Gaga will perform “Applause” and other ARTPOP songs. A duet with Kermit is also in the cards.

Enjoy a couple of new stills from the special recently released by ABC:

“What an incredible opportunity!” said Kermit the Frog in a press release last month. “We have a long history with Ms. Gaga, so we jumped at the chance to do a holiday special with her. We won’t even mind if she mistakes some of the Muppets for pieces of her wardrobe—again.”

The television special arrives two years after Gaga first teamed up with ABC for the holidays. Promoting her new album Born This Way, Gaga hosted a Thanksgiving event where she performed several songs on piano and dueted with Tony Bennett. Early next year the pair will release a duet album. We wouldn’t be surprised if the legendary jazz singer makes an appearing during this year’s special.
