Move over Britney Spears! Lady Gaga has officially announced that she’ll have her own Las Vegas residency beginning in 2018!

The Las Vegas Review Journal reports that the “Perfect Illusion” singer’s residency is set to open in late 2018 at The Park Theater which is located at the Monte Carlo hotel and casino.

News of the pop star’s residency may not come as a big shock to Little Monsters who’ve been keeping up to date with all things Gaga. In fact, rumors that Gaga may be taking her show to the strip have been swirling around on the internet for about a year and half now.

Even so, it’s nice to get official confirmation from the pop star herself.

Lady Gaga took to Twitter on Tuesday (December 19) to confirm the news of her planned residency with fans far and wide.

“The rumors are true! I will have my own residency at [Monte Carlo]’s Park Theater,” tweeted Gaga along with a few photos of herself signing the contract for her upcoming show. “Get ready for a brand new show! It’s been my lifelong dream to be a Las Vegas girl, I’m so overjoyed! LOVE YOU LITTLE MONSTERS WE DID IT, MEET ME IN Las Vegas!! #LasVegasGoesGaga”

According to the Review Journal, Gaga’s residency will be comprised of a series of 36 shows in total. Currently, the show is set to run through 2019 for one year, with the possibility of an extended run through 2020.

There’s no word yet on when the coveted tickets are set to go on sale, but we’re sure they’ll be a hot commodity whenever they hit the internet!
