Tonight, Little Monsters all over North America got some bad news. Due to a health condition, Lady Gaga has postponed the rest of her 22-date North American tour.

The news comes from Live Nation via Lady Gaga’s website, which has sent out details regarding the rest of the pop superstar’s Born This Way Ball:

Live Nation Global Touring has confirmed that the remainder of the Lady Gaga Born This Way Ball performances have been cancelled.
After additional tests this morning to review the severity of the issue, it has been determined that Lady Gaga has a labral tear of the right hip. She will need surgery to repair the problem, followed by strict down time to recover. This unfortunately, will force her to cancel the tour, so she can heal.

Refunds for the cancelled performances will be available at point of purchase starting Feb 14, 2013.

This is devastating news for Little Monsters and Gaga fans all over North America who have been waiting for the Born This Way world tour to come to the singer’s home country. Born This Way was released two years ago this May.

This week, Lady Gaga also postponed four of her regular stops due to a health condition. She tweeted:

Due to a case of synovitis, (severe inflammation of joints) Gaga’s doctor has ordered her to postpone show in Chicago, Detroit + Hamilton

We’re personally sad by the news as we had tickets to see Lady Gaga at Madison Square Garden next Friday! We hope Lady Gaga has a safe recovery and gets some well-needed rest after almost three years of non-stop touring.
