Lady Gaga is considering releasing her third full-length album, ARTPOP, in two parts – an “experimental” volume and a “commercial” volume.

Gaga made the announcement during a chat on LittleMonsters.com, MTV reports.

“It’s a bit more modern. You never know if radio is ready,” Gaga said of ARTPOP. “I can’t decide how to tracklist it yet. Sort of thinking that volume one should have all the commercial songs and save the experimental material for volume two.”

Whether she plans on releasing two separate albums or a two-disc album is unclear.

ARTPOP, the follow-up to 2011’s Born This Way, is expected in 2013 as an album and multimedia app.

Mother Monster debuted a new song, “Princess Die,” while on tour, though she hasn’t confirmed if the song will be part of ARTPOP.

Gaga will also make her movie debut in Robert Rodriguez’s Machete Kills next year and plans to team up with Tony Bennett again for a jazz album. The duo partnered for “The Lady Is a Tramp” off Duets II in 2011.

Bennett just released Viva Duets, which includes collabs with Latino artists such as Christina Aguilera, Gloria Estefan, Thalia and Marc Anthony, earlier this week but told Billboard the jazz album would be his next project.

What do you think modern, non-radio friendly music sounds like? Are you looking forward to ARTPOP?
